School’s out for summer! At Clover Park you are close to plenty of fun and inexpensive family activities in the Adelaide Hills to keep your little ones busy during the summer break and we’ve put together a list of our favourite events below…

 

 

Friday 16 December – Sunday 18 December 2022 – Hahndorf Christkindlmarkt

Time: 4pm -10pm

The Hahndorf Christkindlmarkt is back after a two year break! This free European-style Christmas market has everything from gift stalls and food trucks to Carols by Candlelight every night at 9pm and is a fun outing for the whole family. Find out more details here.

 

 

Tuesday 20 December 2022 – Kids Christmas Craft, Coventry Library, Stirling

Time: 11am – 1pm

Drop into the Coventry Library at Stirling and get your Christmas craft on. Choose from a selection of cute Christmas activities that you can make and create. This event is free and you can book your spot here.

 

 

Wednesday 21 December 2022 – Holiday Mountain Bike Skills Clinic – Intermediate, Aston Hills Mountain Bike Park

Time: 10am – 12pm

Develop your mountain biking skills in a 2 hour session led by Head for the Hills coaches. The intermediate clinic will cover topics such as riding actively, wheel lifts and drop-offs and tickets are $20. Book your spot here.

 

 

Wednesday 21 December 2022 – Twilight Christmas Market, 23 Mann Street Mount Barker

Time: 5.30pm – 8.30pm

This local Christmas market is fun for all the family. From live music and artisan market stalls you’ll be able to stock up on fresh produce and gifts and also enjoy some fun activities for children. Find out more here.

 

 

Wednesday 4 January 2023 – Summer Chalk Challenge, Mount Barker Community Library

Time: 11am – 12pm

Get scribbling with some chalk this summer. With 48 different shades of sidewalk chalk on offer, come and turn the Mount Barker Library courtyard into a masterpiece these holidays! Book your spot here.

 

 

Saturday 14 January 2023 – Lego Drop-In Session, Mount Barker Community Library

Time: 10am-3pm

A day of free Lego play in the library – what could be better? This event is suitable for all ages but children under 12 must be supervised by a parent or a guardian. Reserve your spot here.

 

 

Wednesday 18 January, Adventure Day, Coventry Library, Stirling

Time: 11am – 1pm

Drop in for a day of adventure at the Coventry Library, Stirling. Activities include climbing rock wall, giant games and lots of other wild activities for you to enjoy. This event is free! Book your spot here.

 

 

Thursday 19 January, Junior Master Chef, Woodside Library

Calling all junior master chefs! Learn to create fun and healthy summer snacks that you can make at home over the holidays. This event is suitable for children over the age of 5, and tickets can be booked here.

 

 

Wednesday 25 January 2023 – Origami Workshop, Mount Barker Community Library

Time: 10am – 10.45am

Come and learn how to make origami stars using beautiful kite paper! Suitable for children aged 8 and over, everyone will experience a fun art activity and make their own star to take home. Tickets are $5 – book yours here.
